Instruction to Author
Scope
Trends in Bio/Pharmaceutical Industry (TBI) is a professional scientific journal published both online and in hardcopies and distributed in US and China. The Journal focuses on emerging trends and technologies in areas from early stage drug discovery to drug development, manufacturing and marketing, as well as changes in regulation in US and China.
TBI also publishes profiles of selected leading Chinese and Chinese-founded American pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as individual leading scientists and entrepreneurs.
Articles and Authors
Articles are either submitted by members of participating organizations or invited by Editorial Board, usually 3-6 months before the targeted issue. For invited articles, the author is required to submit a first draft of the article in one month. All the articles are reviewed by Editorial Board members or reviewers invited by the Board. Usually two to three reviewers are involved in the reviewing process. Author may be asked by the Board for revisions before the article is accepted for publication. The author may also be contacted a few months before the planned publication date for updating information if necessary.
Authors are recognized as volunteers and will not be paid for their contribution.
Style of Articles
General style: The article in general should be presented as a mini-review that collects and analyzes information from different sources, such as published articles, conference proceedings, posters, news releases, web pages and personal communications, which together depicts an emerging matter of interest.
Language: The original articles can be written in either Chinese or English. In either case, authors are encouraged to use plain language when explaining complicated scientific and technical issues and to include photos, tables and graphs to enhance the subject visually.
Length: The length of full article should be at least 2000 words or 2 printed page long, but can be as long as it needed. Each article can be further divided into small sessions.
Titles and Sub-title: Authors are encouraged to use clear and informative Titles and sub-titles in the article.
Tables, Graphics and Photos: Authors are required to use self explanatory Tables, Graphics and Photos to enhance the text content. The Table, Graphics and Photos can be from other published sources, providing the source of the Tables, Graphics and Photos are properly acknowledged.
Reference Citation: Authors shall include a list of selected literatures as references or recommended readings. For any reliable source of information, proper citation should be made in the text as a number in superscription, e.g.
Together, these new proteins enable the production and secretion of a human glycoprotein with appropriate complex N-glycosylation [2].
and summarized in the reference session using the following format:

Unique Style: Authors need to consult with Editorial Board if s/he would prefer a unique style for a particular article style in order to delivery a clear and concise context.
Author Bio and Photo
As part of the article, each Author will be presented briefly at the beginning of the article. A short bio of the author and a recent digital photo of the author should be submitted at the same time when submitting the article. The Bio is limited to 100-150 words that cover the education background and current research focus of the author. An optional email address can be included at the end of the brief Bio for future contact.

All in text citation should be listed after the relevant sentence with the same font and font size. Examples: [1], [1,2], [5-9]
Copyright
The author shall be ultimately responsible for properly citing and crediting each source of information that is available to the public. The author should also seek publication clearance from his/her current employer, if needed.
Submitting articles will transfer the copy right of the article to TBI that will prevent any future illegal copy and use of the article by any party without consensus from TBI.
